Sauna Room Lighting

Lighting is simply the easiest, most dramatic way to alter and control the desired visual ambiance of your sauna bathing environment!

SteamSaunaBath always recommends a ceiling or wall-mounted light constructed of solid metal with a glass lens or wood shade operating on low-voltage electric and rated for the environment. The SteamSaunaBath Configurator has returned the lighting fixtures available for your sauna bathing environment. Consider these great lighting styles and options for your personal sauna room:

Wall-Mounted Light

Wall-Mounted Lights are simple to install and are the most traditional, commonly installed fixture. Constructed of a brushed aluminum base and satin finish with frosted white cylinder, our Wall-Mounted Light utilizes a neoprene gasket for a vapor proof seal.

Wall-Mounted Valance Lighting

Wall-Mounted Valance Lighting offers low voltage operation with a designers touch! Valance lighting utilizes a series of 12vac bulbs mounted to a metal and wood track housed by a continuous cedar shade. Ships assembled and complete with a 120/12V AC transformer for easy mounting and low voltage operation.

Ceiling-Mounted Light

Ceiling-Mounted Lights make for a clean, out of the way installation. Also constructed of an aluminum frame, our ceiling lights are flush mounted and utilize a solid white frosted glass lens and powder coated, white aluminum trim for a truly stylish look.

When considering sauna room lighting, it is important to note that you are creating a truly mood altering environment. Nothing (other than a steam bath) in the bathing world comes close to such a relaxing escape. Yes…it’s an escape! You will wonder how you ever lived without it! While designing and selecting equipment for your sauna bathing sanctuary, always keep in mind your desired ambiance.

The SteamSaunaBath team feels that sauna room lighting is commonly overlooked…one light fixture and an on/off switch is not our idea of a successful sauna lighting plan. If your budget permits, consider combination lighting or multiple fixtures on separate switches. Think about installing a dimmer switch, which will enable you to install multiple lights with the capability to dial in on day-to-day sauna bathing moods or lighting needs.

Lighting is important and if your budget allows a little extra, we know you won't regret this added investment…we can’t emphasize this enough!
